Ephemeral presence within the vessel,
in collaboration with Hannibal, Zamith and Maria de Oliveira
   November, 2023

This work conceptually simulates a functioning circulatory system, enclosed within a ribcage, combining mechanical and organic elements.

The system is not only a representation of the human body but also an exploration of the intersection between biological systems and digital technology.

The work explores the concept of cybernetics, where systems—both biological and artificial—are interconnected and dependent on feedback loops. The unpredictability of the blood's movement, as it falls and circulates, adds an element of life to an object that appears purely mechanical.

The illusion of blood being pumped is activated by a proximity sensor, highlighting the interaction between human presence and digital control.
